Coretta’s Comfort was born out of love, a little necessity, and a lot of intention.

What started as a way to save money while planning a Paris wedding on a budget quickly turned into something more. One day, my then-fiancé looked at a candle I was eyeing and said, “You should just make your own.” So I did. And to my surprise, I *loved it.*

At first, it was just for fun. Then came 2020, a year that made us all rethink everything. That’s when I decided to share my creations with the world.

This brand is named after my mother. Coretta is her middle name, inspired by Coretta Scott King. That legacy of strength, grace, and comfort runs deep. My mom has always made me feel the most at home, and when I think of comfort, I think of her. This brand is my way of honoring her while building a legacy of my own—one rooted in warmth, beauty, and intention.

Each candle is hand-poured in Atlanta, crafted with crackling wood wicks and elevated scent blends that are cozy, nostalgic, and just a little bit luxe. Our scent names are inspired by pop culture moments that stick with us—because there’s something powerful about memory and mood. A familiar lyric. A favorite movie. That feeling of “oh I remember this.”

Coretta’s Comfort is more than candles. It’s an experience. It’s walking into someone’s home and immediately feeling at ease. It’s wrapping yourself in a memory and letting it burn slow.
